Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR, Rajiv Gandhi Salai) is Chennai's IT corridor, running south from Madhya Kailash past Sholinganallur, Navalur, Egattur and Siruseri SIPCOT to Kelambakkam. It is home to TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, HCL and hundreds of other employers, with international schools, hospitals and malls along the way. The Phase 2 metro along OMR is under construction.
Porur is a major junction on Chennai's western side, where Mount-Poonamallee Road meets the Chennai Bypass. It is close to the DLF and L&T IT parks at Ramapuram and Manapakkam, Sri Ramachandra hospital and Guindy, and the airport is about 30 minutes away. The Phase 2 metro through Porur will further improve connectivity.
